For now I’ll try adding their widget in a blog entry and see how it goes.

Update: The javascript went in, but the poll won’t validate at the Pajamas site (to make this entry an official Pajamas “precinct”), and nothing shows up here. They warn that their stuff won’t run if it’s hosted by WordPress, but I’m using WordPress with my own host, and this site already runs other ballot widgets and Youtube, so I doubt that’s the problem.

Here’s the link for the Pajamas straw poll. It’s apparently powered by a MySQL/PHP engine made by Dominion Web.
