A technical test
This blogsforbush.com sample poll is wonderfully easy to use and share, but has no authentication features. Unfortunately, ballot stuffing (freeping) got so bad on its most recent version that the site was temporarily shut down.
I’m pasting it to my blog for testing purposes only. Apparently all the polls at the host site resolve to a single link. The implication is that you can’t show old, expired polls. The javascript of the host page will update with the latest version of the poll whenever the source changes. I was trying to work with an expired (Jan. 07) poll form the site, but Feb, shows through, and I presume March will appear in this same place starting next month.
If you don’t know me, then please keep in mind that I’m a registered Democrat and that I identify with the Kossack (dailykos.com) community. But Indaba.org is intended for the widest possible use, and in a way that would minimize ballot stuffing while promoting reputation building and review of changing views over time.
Here’s the blogsforbush poll ……….
